Over the weekend, I learn a new skill from grandma. And it involved a carrot!

I am not sure what the process is called. I know I have to hold the carrot in one hand and a tool in another. I rub the tool against the carrot and bits of the carrot fall off.

I don’t think that I was slicing it because I wasn’t using a knife. Was I shaving the carrot? Shredding or torturing it?
