Piffles! I should have known that an adult would disappoint me…
I was all prepared for my show and tell today. We were supposed to dress up as pirates and show off our favourite booty. I decided to talk about one of my LEGO creations.
I practised and practised and practised. I wanted to tell my classmates about something that I loved doing. But it was not to be.
Our speech and drama teacher broke away from the plan and we didn’t get to do our rehearsed speeches. I don’t know why we put on clothes to look like pirates. Worse still, we did not have a chance to wear the cool looking pirate hat.
Someone needs to walk the plank… arrrr!
