Haze be gone!
The Garden City is burning and that is causing the haze. That is what the Internet says anyway. The dry spell has caused stretches of vegetation to dry up and this has resulted in bush fires.
I have not seen any of the fires, but I have seen and smelled the haze. The smoky air has made my nose runny and the days are hot, hot, hot.
It also seems to have chased the egrets away. I don’t see them flying overhead in the early morning any more. I suppose they don’t like the haze any more than I do!
