Shoo-in
It’s day 2 of day camp. And I am so glad that I have a new pair of shoes!
We went shoe shopping last evening as promised. We trudged from one shoe store to another, but I did not like what they had to offer.
When I finally spotted something I liked, mama made a “yuk!” face. The shoes were yellow. Later on papa told me that we did not buy that pair because I would have looked like Mickey Mouse. Hee-hee!
I finally had to decide between two pairs of blue shoes. I chose on flexible and comfy pair of Nike shoes (if small Reeboks are Wee-boks, are small Nikes called Nike-lings?). I bet papa wishes I got the cheap yellow pair now!
