Peanut-buttered

Monday, June 16th, 2008

It was Father’s Day yesterday and I made something for papa (no, it wasn’t a “brownie”!). What did you do?
With a bit of help from mama, I made a card for papa. This is what it looked like inside (click the image below to see a larger version).

I also spent a bit of time sucking [...]

Signs and sentences

Friday, June 13th, 2008

I like reading things around me.
I draw inspiration from one of the books I have where Arthur challenged his younger sister to read ten words. When she did, Arthur bought her an ice cream cone!
I like reading signs that I spot when we are in the car or when we take a walk. I was [...]

Four Bs

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

My folks say that as I grapple with the three Rs, I also have to master the four Bs before I turn five.
The first B is buttons. I have to learn how to button up my own shirts. I do that every morning now. Apparently it is not enough that I put on my own [...]

Bollywood

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

I spent the day with mama and papa instead of going to school. And what a fun day it was!
First, I visited a place called Bollywood Veggies, which is a farm in Singapore. I did not know that there were farms here and it was refreshing to be surrounded by the forest instead the concrete [...]

Tinkling the ivories

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Did I tell you what I did last weekend (not the weekend that just went by)? No?
I spent time with my grandparents. Instead of going out shopping as usual, I asked to go to the beach. But it was too hot to go out, so grandma taught me how to play the piano.
I was content [...]

Office food

Monday, June 9th, 2008

I love going to papa’s office for meals. Well, not his actual office, but the eateries that are around his office on campus.
I especially like the McDonald’s that is at one of the canteens. It disappeared for a short while and reappeared a short distance away at a new building. Other food outlets like Subway, [...]

Video Games Day

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Fridays are generally good, but this Friday was great.
I was school for only half a day because I attended the Video Games Day event at papa’s other office, the MxL. I taught my padawans a thing or two about Wii bowling (click the image below to see a larger version)!

After all that exertion, we went [...]

World Environment Day

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Today is World Environment Day.
What good are you doing for our environment? Papa says that the best thing some people can do is drop dead.
I am not going to anything that drastic. I am just going to try not to fart. Will you join me?

Mr Bean

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

I planted some beans last week and they have sprouted, woo-hoo!

At first, nothing seemed to be happening. Then roots came out, and before I could say “Bean there, done that!” or “I am a human bean!”, they had grown leaves.
Will I see flowers next?

Gladiator

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

There is a new show that I like to watch. Mama doesn’t enjoy it, but I do! The show is American Gladiators 2008
Papa says he watched the original show almost 20 years ago and decided to watch the latest season (#2) on a whim.
I don’t know what a whim is (is it like a beanbag?) [...]
