The first of many
I had a significant life moment some time last week. I beat papa in a debate!
We were in the car and I was talking to my folks about different animals. Somehow the topic strayed to animal bodies and their heads.
I mentioned something about animals having heads “in their bodies” and papa corrected me by saying that I should have said “on their bodies.”
I thought for a while and reminded papa that turtles could put their heads in their shells. Papa said that he had to give me that one. That was his way of saying I was right!
He then went on to say that our verbal sparring (and me winning) was the first of many to come. I look forward to them, papa! En garde!
