Cat tale

Yesterday I made a cat out of coloured paper that one of my teachers prepared for us. Today I did a show-and-tell about my stuffed toy cat.

I am not sure how that happened. I think it had something to do with mama mentioning my kitty cat within earshot of the teacher. My teacher then suggested that I bring it to school the next day.

I did not want to at first. I said that the other kids would try to grab it or take it away. But mama and my teacher assured me that there would be some cat protection.

So it seemed like a good idea. And it was! I got to tell everyone about my cat and how it has a special bell on its tail. No one messed with it or with me because I had my claws ready.

But I think that kitty was quite traumatised by the experience. One of the kiddies went nose to nose with it and kitty cried. So I hugged it to give it some comfort. Poor kitty!
