Chen!
For some strange reason, mama decided to use some Chinese phrases on me. When I heard her speak, I told her, “Mama, you cannot speak in Chinese!”
Mama asked, “Why?”
I replied, “Because you are not Chen lao shi!”
It was then that I found out that mama used to be a teacher too. I was also told that our surname in Chinese is also Chen!
So say hello to Dr Chen and Mrs Chen and of course…
