Eve
Christmas Eve is finally here!
The only thing better than the Eve of Christmas is Christmas Day itself! Why? Because I will finally get to open the presents that have been waiting patiently for me under our tree!
But before that could happen, I received another bumper crop of presents after attending a party at Kuku Denise’s and Uncle David’s place. Woo-hoo!
Oh, it is also mama’s birthday today so grandma got her a cake. It had three big candles on it with another two candles arranged as a “plus” sign. This was supposed to represent mama as being “30 plus”.
Papa quipped that the same number of candles could have been rearranged to more accurately to indicate “40 minus”. Mama said that papa is not getting any tonight. What?! No cake for commenting about candles?
