Head trauma

Coconut head, coconut head! That’s how my folks describe my head. It is supposedly as hard as a coconut. I did not realise how useful having a “coconut head” was until recently.

Earlier this week, I visited papa at his office after nursery school as I often do. While I am there, I like to use the “big people” toilet because it is fun!

Papa has to lift me up to the urinal and I like how my tummy presses against the sink when I have to wash up later. In all honesty, I like to watch papa struggling to support me in a kid-unfriendly loo.

And it is very kid-unfriendly. One of papa’s colleagues pushed the main door open and I became the door stop! BONK!

I now know why cartoons show stars and birds flying around a character’s head. I think I even saw the moon! After that cleared up, a red spot appeared on my forehead.

But I was OK. Papa’s colleague, on the other hand, couldn’t apologise enough. I guess he was suffering from head trauma.

I tell you what, buy me a spaghetti and some nuggets at the NIE canteen and all will be forgotten!
