Air-conned
Sometimes I just don’t understand my parents…
I enjoyed a lovely long snooze all thanks to air-conditioning. We have it at home but we rarely use it. My folks say that it is only for really warm days. Duh! We’re in Singapore!
If air-conditioning makes me less sweaty and cranky (and more comfortable and huggable), then why not leave it on all day? Save the environment? What’s it ever done except making me all warm and bothered?
Papa says that it builds character. Yes, if that means all sorts of things clinging on to my sticky skin. I bet the real reason has something to do with saving money by not using electricity.
Hogwash! I’m getting conned, I tell ya! Air-conned!
