Ta-ta 2006!
Papa says that it is the time of year to reflect. So I went over to the mirror and I loved what I saw. Hello, gorgeous! (Same joke as last year but it still works! It’s a classic I tell ya!)
It’s been a dramatic year according to my folks. Papa got his Ph.D. (in something or other) and we left our lives in Bloomington behind and restarted new ones in Singapore. All that packing and unpacking… why bother moving?
We are waiting for our new home to be renovated and we zip from one place to another in our new car. I have been meeting new relatives and friends ever since we returned in August 2006. As a result, I have been getting A LOT of new stuff, yay!
Ah Gong and Ah Ma had to visit the hospital a couple of times. I don’t know exactly why, but I am glad that they are still around because they give me presents, food, and more presents!
What will 2007 bring us? Mama is looking forward to having a kitchen of her own design. Papa is looking forward to the shorter travel times to work. Me? More presents, of course! And chocolate. And cookies. And chocolate cookies.
BTW, thank you for reading my blog. I don’t know how long I will keep this up, but papa says that we might have the energy to do this until I am three.
Here’s wishing all my readers a good and productive 2007! (See me at a wishing fountain and then multitasking with a DVD and book!)
