Rainy

I’ll forgive Santa for not bringing me some of the presents on my wish list. He must have had a tough time with the monsoon rains.

It doesn’t snow here in Singapore, but, boy, can it rain! It can rain for days on end. According to a report, we recently got more rain in a 24-hour period than all of an average December!

Is that a lot? Apparently so. Based on rough calculations, papa says that I could have experienced the equivalent of 140 inches of snow over that period. That’s a lot of snowmen!

But all that is wishful thinking. The closest thing to snow in Singapore is ice kacang (it’s a dessert in this snow desert). That might have been a lot of ice kacang then!

I hope that Santa’s sleigh doubles as a jet ski or something. It would be tragic to read about an unidentified ang mo body floating in some monsoon drain!

I have just one question: What do wet reindeer smell like?
