Surprise!
Hey, I did have a Thanksgiving dinner after all. Well, kinda… sorta!
Several members of our Bloomington gang were back in Singapore, so we met for dinner. We didn’t have turkey but had Peranakan food instead. It was the first time I was trying this food and it was yummy! I also had fun playing with the other kids outside the restaurant.
But the best part must have been getting a surprise from Aunty Meow. Apparently mama and papa asked her to buy me the “Cars” DVD from Target and bring it over.
Ka-pow! Ka-chow! I had to watch it as soon as I got back. And when I was done, I asked to watch it again! But my folks insisted that I go to bed. Never mind, I’ll watch it again tomorrow.
And again and again and again…
