Thanksgiving?
My folks tell me that if we were still in Bloomington, we would be mooching off someone else’s dinner. In other words, some family would be so thankful for my presence that they would invite us over for Thanksgiving.
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here. We didn’t have pilgrims and the Indians here are not the woo-woo-woo kind but the red-dot kind. (Hey, I’m two and a half! I haven’t learned to be politically correct yet.)
Anyway, have a happy holiday with your family. Then get up early on Black Friday and join the long queues outside stores. Remember to get something for your precious little darlings!
