Home?
I am still a bit confused as to where “home” is.
Don’t get me wrong! I know where I live now and I recognise the surroundings as we approach it by car. But sometimes I wonder about the cooler home that I left in Bloomington. I still ask about Wendy’s and Target.
But I also talk about our new home from time to time. We already have the keys and have even stepped into it, so why don’t we live there already? My folks say that we have to do the Singaporean thing and give it a makeover, i.e., renovate it.
Piffle! If I had my way, we’d live in a tent and have picnics everyday. As for toilets, that’s what bushes and sand are for, right?
