Progress?

I am making progress in the potty department!

I resumed my potty training regime on Monday. Today, I poo-ed and pee-ed without incident and without raising a fuss. But in between, I wet the floor, pee-ed on mama, and raised several false alarms.

Earlier in the week I raised several districts of hell by complaining loudly that I did not want to release my pee and poo into the big porcelain potty. I also broke a very old plastic potty by thumping down on it too hard. Grandma told me that it was the same potty that papa used!

Boy, that must have been a really old potty (circa late 1960s to early 1970s). Yes, it came complete with a leftover hippy hair style, giant lapels, and bell bottoms! It even had a funky smell. Hee-hee, not really!

I realise now that it is not worth holding all the goodies back because it is going to come out any way. And as much as I would like my parents to do more work by cleaning me up, they seem very happy each time I conduct my business quietly and efficiently.

But the jury is still out on whether I will continue to be good or if I should piss my parents off. Stay tuned for the final verdict…
