Car-bump!

Our new car has a small boo-boo. And no amount of me kissing it is going to make it better.

We opted to eat at Holland Village on Friday. But like most places here, parking space was tight! I am small but even I find things like aisles and space between tables to be a squeeze. Singapore is not a place for the claustrophobic!

Anyway, we had a yummy dinner and even yummier dessert (ice cream, of course!) and then made our way back to the car. Other drivers were circling like vultures by then, but as mama squeezed her way out of the parking lot, she accidentally nudged the bumper of the parked car to our right.

That car’s bumper got a bit squished. Our car’s right rear door got scratched. I am glad I had nothing to do with it, but boy was mama mad! Papa asked her to leave a note on the other car and we left the vultures to fight over the empty space.

Fortunately, the other driver was nice about it. I guess it pays to be honest about things. But I am not letting mama near my toy cars. I can bump them and scratch them and take them apart myself, thank you very much!
