Pat-pat
My parents are weird creatures, but I love them anyway…
Yesterday, mama left home in the evening and came back just as I was about to go to sleep. Apparently she had a “mamas night out” with the other mamas. I don’t mind papa reading me bedtime stories but it is just not the same. Fortunately, she came home just in time to snuggle and cuddle.
The day before yesterday, papa left home in the evening and came back as I was about to go to sleep. Apparently he was conducting a workshop for his students. I don’t mind mama bathing me but… you know what? It doesn’t matter because I love to bathe!
Fortunately, papa came home just in time to say goodnight. He was tired and put his face next to mine. So I decided to comfort him like mama comforts me. I said “Pat-pat!” and patted his side. Unfortunately, all I got back in return was patting from him. My ruse to stay up later didn’t work!
My parents are sly creatures, but I’ll bear with them anyway…
