Yes/no?
Learning new words is fun. Words not only help me get what I want, it is also such a pleasure to hear my own voice!
Two of the words I learned a while ago were “Yes” and “No”. “No” is a lot more fun to say because I get to shake my head as if I have a bee inside. I also hear a lot of no-this and no-that from my folks.
But I learned that there are variations of yes and no like “”Yep” and “Nope”. My folks don’t know where I picked them up. Was it TV? Was it by interacting with other people? Was it from a book we read?
Am I telling them? Nope!
