Solstice?
Papa told me that the summer solstice is over. Huh? As if I care!
According to him we experienced the day with the longest daylight hours and that summer had “officially” begun. Well, I believe the latter part! After a brief cool spell last week, it is hot and humid again.
I find it hard to sleep at night so papa put a box fan at the window to draw the cool night air in. Now he is considering a proper window fan.
I have another idea: How about you let me sleep nekkid?
