Cold spring
Today we ventured out on an unusually cold spring day to watch the “Celebration of Families” parade.
While we waited for the parade to start, we took a photo at IU’s Sample Gates. The parade had a police escort and you can see me watching the flashing lights on the sheriff’s car in the photo! Ooh, bright colors!
But all of us got hungry so we trooped into Village Deli for a bite. We took too long biting on yummy morsels so we missed the parade.
Fortunately we found the end point of the parade. We got a free goody bag and ate some free food (popcorn and hot dog). Free stuff is amazingly yummy!
It threatened to rain on the parade so we bid a hasty retreat, but not before we listened to a funny guy playing a guitar and buzzing a kazoo.
I like the kazoo. Can you get me one, papa? In the mean time, I’ll practice my toot-toot when I poot-poot!
