Injections!

Monday, August 30th, 2004

Today we visited Dr Malone for my four-month check up.
I now weigh 15lb 2oz (6.8kg) and am 25.5in (64.8cm) long. Great, more fuel for fat jokes at my expense! Papa is ten times heavier than me but you don’t hear me making fun of him!
I also received another round of injections. Ouchie! The injections weren’t [...]

Bubble bath

Monday, August 30th, 2004

Having a bath has always been a dramatic event for me. When I was younger, I hated taking a bath. So my folks cuddled me and showered with me. Now that I do not mind bathing in my own tub, I have had to think of ways to make things interesting.
I decided that I should [...]

TSAA

Friday, August 27th, 2004

TSAA is short for “There’s Something About Armpits”. Yesterday I wrote about papa’s armpit and today I’m writing about mine!
Papa has discovered my ticklish area. He holds me up like a big corn on cob and nibbles me up and down along the side of my body. When he does that I smile and giggle. [...]

Pulling hair

Thursday, August 26th, 2004

During our trip to Boston, I discovered a new patch of hair on papa’s body that I had not seen previously. It was in a dark and moist part of his body. It was growing in an odd part of his body too… I don’t have hair growing there! Yes, I am talking about papa’s [...]

Video clips

Wednesday, August 25th, 2004

Papa has uploaded two video clips that he took during our trip to Boston. The first is of mama trying to get the hammers to strike the chimes (1.99MB) at the MIT train station. The second is of the Holocaust Memorial (4.59MB).
He has also updated my Boston blog entries with links to photos that he [...]

Boston Day 5

Tuesday, August 24th, 2004

On our last day in Boston, mama and papa decided to go on the Boston Duck Tour. I thought that we already saw the duck statues at the Public Garden. Then I found out that we were taking a tour of Boston in an amphibious vehicle. We sat at the back and it was a [...]

Boston Day 4

Monday, August 23rd, 2004

Today mama and papa decided to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Science again! I know that the MFA had pretty, old, and pretty old things in it and the MOS had lots of interactive exhibits. But… boring! Of all the rooms in those places, I only liked the nursing room [...]

Boston Day 3

Sunday, August 22nd, 2004

Papa says that Boston in summer is like Singapore all year round. It rains the same: long and heavy. If it’s not raining, it’s hot and humid. Passengers on the bus don’t move to the back and don’t always offer seats to people like me. People on the train stand in doorways or get in [...]

Boston Day 2

Saturday, August 21st, 2004

Today we went to Boston Common and the Public Garden. I saw a mama duck and her ducklings but they were didn’t move much. Maybe they were just scared stiff to see me. Mama told me that they were statues.
We also walked looked at the lovely houses and shops along Commonwealth Ave and Newberry St. [...]

Boston Day 1

Friday, August 20th, 2004

Today we left for a holiday in Boston. Papa arranged for a town car to bring us to Indy airport but got a limousine instead. Wah… it was such a long car! If I pooted at one end, it would take a long time for the pong to ping at the other end.
According to my [...]
