Walkies, picnic, and fountains!

Today was a nice day so mama, papa, and I went out for a walk.

First we made a visit to the department where papa is studying — Instructional Systems Technology. I don’t know what that means, but the few people that were around in summer adored me and that is what counts most!

Then we walked through campus, took a few photos, and tried to avoid the millions of cicadas buzzing about! We made our way to the county library and then mama wanted to go shopping! I could hear papa’s heart stop as I snuggled against his chest, so I thumped him a few times to make sure I had a smooth ride.

Soon it was time for lunch. Mama and papa bought their favorite Subway sandwich and sat in a shady spot outside the courthouse. Then it was my turn to gobble up my milk… YUM! I love picnics! Unfortunately, papa took a not-so-flattering photo of me as I ate.

When we got home, I got back at papa. I was inspired by the Showalter Fountain at the IU campus and I did my best to imitate the jet that went straight up. I managed to get papa, the diaper (when papa used it as a shield), the changing table, and my shirt. Hee-hee! What a fun day!
