The Grands
Grandpa and grandma are here!
They arrived this afternoon and will be staying with mama and papa until I am born. So nice to have another set of adults to love me, take care of me, and attend to me! They brought pressies and ang pows from relatives in Singapore, but I am not allowed to get them until I come out… phooey!
Grandma made dinner tonite; there was pita bread, curry mince, and a salad. Food does taste different when someone else cooks it. Mama’s cooking is good in a different way. I think I am going to enjoy the next few weeks’ food… drool…
It’s going to be a busy week for mama; she’s going to bring grandpa and grandma around to acquaint them with things like Bloomington’s bus routes, the shopping areas, and the eating places. I am going to be a good helper and not do battering ram when we are out and about. Papa will take over when he’s done with his work.
So grand to have the grands here!
