Thumpity-thump-thump
Mama, papa, and I had an appointment with aunty Liz yesterday. I wondered why we are seeing her again so soon after last week’s visit and papa explained that because I am about to pop out of mama in a few weeks’ time, aunty Liz just wants to make sure that everything is going well with mama and I. So we will be visiting the office every week from now on, until I make my grand entrance.
Aunty Liz used her magic wand again to listen to my heart beat. I wonder how she manages to place the wand at the right spot every time?! The wand has an amplifier thingy and my heart beats sound really loud in the small examination room. Thumpity-thumpity-thump-thump! I was very good yesterday. At least I didn’t raise a limb in protest or anything like that, unlike last week; mama couldn’t see it, but papa and aunty Liz were surprised by the big bump I made when mama laid down on the examination couch… heh-heh!
Next week’s appointment is not with aunty Liz, but with one of the two doctors from the office. I met the other doctor a few weeks ago and he was very nice. He guessed that I may be a 7 pound baby. Is that big? I hope so, though mama didn’t sound very enthusiastic about me being so heavy… I wonder why? I hope the other doctor will tell mama and papa that I may be a 8 pounder!
